It is blended with cotton, interwoven with polyester, and dyed, printed, flame retarded and finished to develop a durable flame-retardant product. The flame-retardant properties are not reduced or disappeared due to the number of washings and the length of application. The fabrics have the excellent characteristics of softness, fluffiness, good drapability, good air permeability, high strength, good color fastness, and non-melting in case of charcoalization. In this way, the quality standard of durable flame-retardant decorative fabrics can be met.
Second, product development
According to the characteristics of modified acrylic fiber, spinning, weaving, dyeing, printing, finishing process experiments, inspection and comparison were carried out, and the ratio of flame-retardant fibers to cotton and the ratio of flame-retardant fibers and polyester interwoven components were continuously selected to overcome spinning. In the weaving process, the surface of the fiber is rough and easy to break, etc.; in conjunction with the market needs, a reasonable fabric structure is designed, elegant colors are prepared, and through the screening of dyeing machines and processes, the flame-retardant acrylic fiber is not suitable for high-temperature treatment and coloring. Problems such as low rate, poor hand feel, etc., identified a reasonable process route for dyeing using overflow dyeing process, printing and transfer printing process, etc.; and asked for some low flame retardant indexes due to blending or interweaving (eg: blended fabrics The smoldering index and the oxygen index of the interwoven fabrics were developed and flame-retardantly treated to meet the design and user requirements.

Focusing on product surface style and improving fabric handling performance, around the comprehensive characteristics of flame-retardant products, we have formulated processes, parameters and development plans for spinning, weaving, dyeing, and finishing, and conducted repeated experiments, screening, and specific processes. The process is as follows:

2. Research and development of flame retardant finishing agents
The research and development of flame-retardant finishing agents mainly focus on the research, development and application of some of the technical indicators of the products involved in this project. One of the main reasons for the difficulty in the promotion of flame retardant products is the price factor. Therefore, targeted research and development can ensure technical indicators are qualified, but also can reduce costs, in line with product mass production needs. After flame-retardant nitrile/cotton blended fabrics were dyed and finished, the flame retardancy index decreased. The oxygen index was 31.0, and the smoldering index was T6.7 W7.7, which could not reach the national standard B1 level. The flame retardant finishing was As a quality assurance measure. Therefore, combined with the previous experience in the development of flame retardants in the Institute of Textiles, the SFR-1 flame retardant was used for finishing. The main component of the flame retardant is ammonium polyphosphate.
After flame-retardant polyester/nitrile interlaced fabrics were processed by printing and dyeing, the oxygen index index was only 28.6 and 28.4. The flame-retardant finishing was also performed as a quality assurance measure. The SFR P-401 flame retardant developed and produced by the Institute of Textiles is used for finishing. The flame retardant is a bromine finish.
After flame-retardant processing, the technical indicators of the final product meet the planning requirements.
3, flame retardant finishing process
a. Flame-retardant finishing of nitrile/cotton blended twill fabrics aims at avoiding the negative effect caused by the blending of cotton fibers and acrylic fibers, and solving the problem of greater flame and smoldering index due to the presence of cotton fibers to achieve the desired flame retardant effect. .
